The KCSP seems to have a knack for keeping the attention of their audiences. The form the band takes on stage is especially strange. It reminds one of a magic circle; they seem to be consciously concentrating energy inward, and driving sounds upward and outward." – Rachel Evans

Ranging from a solo, singer/songwriter act to a powerhouse-of-sound quintet, the music is as diverse as its members and influences. Benjamin's lyrics weave the figurative/metaphorical world of deserts, seas, and wolves with the strife and rebellion of the average working, loving man, that create vivid imagery in a catchy way that is chanted and screamed from the hearts of his avid wolf-army fan base. The lyrics are supported with a powerful rhythm section, heavy keys and flamboyant drumming, fantastic electric guitar and organ leads, and an impressive amount of vocal harmonizing.

Vincent Comparetto

As a child I worked alongside my father in the garage as he restored cars. I never learned too much about car restoration but I learned how to use tools. My mother painted still-lifes and volunteered in a program called Art Appreciation. She would go to all the preschool classes and talk about art. This is how my work came to be, from their influence.

My work means different things to different people. I enjoy hearing a variety of interpretations. For many years I built light boxes and exhibited primarily abstract photography. I also incorporated the abstract images into video art pieces. I liked the work but I am anxious to clean the slate and begin again.

I am now interested in exploring the next phase, which relates in many ways to the present time and my current interests in cubism. I want to explore stenciled collaged and printed abstraction but, at the same time, reference distinctively urban environments based on my travels, and in many cases are based on my own photography. I love getting my hands dirty again and incorporating my love for woodworking and traditional modernism. Ideally the work will feel timeless. I love when people say a piece reminds them of graffiti and 1920s Italian graphic design techniques. That seems to be in line with what I am trying to achieve. Making my work more available, and affordable is also a new focus. I wish to make additions, so that I might share my work with a wider audience, such as online communities. I’m excited to see this new direction progress.
